Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their questions
- Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product offerings
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries or calls professionally
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus, as we serve a diverse customer base
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
